We had solar panels installed on our 44th Street home in November 2019 and have been powering our home (and pumping electricity back out to the grid) since early December 2019. We went with Tesla, which had the lowest cost for purchase and installation per kilowatt-hour. We also consulted with Energy Sage, a broker which works with numerous installers and providers, as we shopped around.
Google's Project Sunroof is a terrific resource to use to see if your house is a good candidate for solar energy.
